Traditional understanding of Math prevents us to develop deeper understanding of Math.It isolated the value of Math.But if we starts to understand Math in a cultural perspective,we would find richer meaning of Math,The New Curriculum Standard of Ordinary High School Mathematics(trial)puts forward specific requirements on the teaching of Mathematics culture for the first time.In October 2016,the research group of core qualities released their achievements,named the Core Qualities of Chinese Students' Development,which illustrated the specific requirements on students' core qualities under the new situation,and it evokes people's reflection on education of all subjects.Mathematics,as a kind of cultural inheritance and accumulation,its educational value in developing students' core qualities is obvious.The relevant researches on Mathematics culture in our country is mainly about the educational value of Mathematics culture.However,less researches were initiated regarding how to integrate Mathematics culture into Mathematics teaching.This paper first analyzes the educational background under the new situation,puts forward the purpose and method of the research it applies.It interprets the implied meaning and expounds the educational significance of Mathematics culture.Also,this paper studies the researches on Mathematics cultural within the country and abroad.From the perspective of educational theory,this paper proposes the theoretical basis for supporting the theory,namely Constructivism and Humanism.Next,through questionnaires,this paper investigates the current situation of Mathematics culture education,which is conducted from two dimensions,teachers and students.It acquires students' understanding and attitude towards Mathematics culture and obtain teacher's understanding and teaching attitude towards Mathematics culture,draw correlative conclusion of current situation of Mathematics teaching.In the end,based on the theoretical analysis mentioned before and research,from the perspective of tracing the Math history,appreciating the beauty of Math,infiltrating Math thinking,combing theory with practice,this paper suggests new ways of integration of Mathematics culture in Math instruction and designs teaching case in accordence to the proposed procedures and applies them in the practical instruction.It analyzes in detail about how to incorporate Mathematics culture in teaching,hoping that through these instruction cases,it can concrete theoretical guidance and practical methods for all math teachers to effectively improve the situation of Mathematics cultural education deficiency and to enhance students' overall cultural qualities and literacy.
