The new curriculum reform requires teachers to seriously study the classroom teaching strategies,stimulate the learning enthusiasm of students,embody the students,encourage students to explore,efficiently achieve the goals.For the development of students in teaching,teachers act a vital role,they should be a guide,impart the learning methods,rather than simply pass on knowledge,give full chance to students in learning processes autonomously.But for a long time in the moral character teaching,teachers tend to teach students about abstract theory knowledge,often ignore the students' emotional experience and the main body position in the classroom.Therefore,the author thinks that it is urgent to research and choose the suitable teaching methods.In order to adapt to the time request,The situational teaching method is more suitable for teaching in junior middle schools.The author from the view of combining situational teaching with junior middle school,use the case teaching method,literature review method,classroom observation and experience summary method to research the application of situational teaching method in junior middle schools' ideology and morality classes.This article consists six parts,the first part mainly discusses the research status at home and abroad and summarizes the research methods used in the process of research,innovation points and deficiencies.The second part reviews the theories of situational teaching method,respectively explained the meaning of situation and situational teaching,sums up the basic characteristics of situational teaching method.The third part analyzes the necessity as well as the importance of using situational teaching method in junior middle schools' ideology and morality classes.The fourth part expounds the problems of using situational teaching method in junior middle school thought moral and analyses the reasons.Then the fifth part is the key chapter of this paper,I specifically discusses the principles and the application of situational teaching method in junior middle school thought moral.The last part is a summary to refine some problems should be paid attention to in using situational teaching method in junior middle school thought moral.
