As an important component of minority area education,bilingual education is good for developing regional politics,economy and culture.However,in the development of bilingual education,we found the outcome in Science unfavorable.As bilingual science teachers are the implementer of bilingual education,their professional knowledge,abilities and emotion are the key factors to bilingual science education.Thus,researching the teaching abilities of bilingual physics teacher will enrich the theories of bilingual education and bilingual teacher as well as improve the quality of bilingual education.This research uses the combination of theoretical construction and empirical research to study the teaching ability of bilingual physics teachers.This research mainly carried out the following aspects:First,reviews the teaching objectives of bilingual physics education,and determines the connotation of teaching abilities of bilingual physics teachers according to the requirements of curriculum objectives.Second,based on the curriculum objectives of bilingual physics education and the professional development theory of teachers,this research delves into the constitution of the teaching ability of the teachers,taking this as foundation works out the questionnaires and outlines for interview and conducts classroom observation and interviews.Through the combination of different methods,this research makes a specific analysis of the status and influential factors of teaching abilities of the teachers.Through research found,the development of bilingual physics teachers' teaching ability is not mature enough,mainly in:(1)The understanding of the objectives of bilingual physics teaching is not in place;(2)Have mining and selection of consciousness of teaching resources,but the lack of integration ability;(3)The ability to adjust the teaching content and method should be improved;(4)Have a sense of reflection,but the lack of specific implementation,at the same time,the evaluation of bilingual students is not very comprehensive,more attention is paid to the study of knowledge,while ignoring the ability and emotional training.The factors influencing the curriculum ability development of the teachers includes educational departments,schools and teachers.Third,from the perspective of Teachers,puts forward a cultivating model,that is“common study--practice and application--assessment and reflection”,and selects two bilingual physics teachers of X school in Xinjiang to conduct an empirical research and verifies the outcome of this model by analyzing and comparing the changes on the curriculumabilities of the teachers.On the basis of this,the following suggestions are put forward for the development of bilingual physics teachers' teaching ability:(1)Strengthen bilingual education theory and professional theory study,enhance national cultural identity;(2)Emphasis on reflective teaching;(3)Improve the awareness of independent development.
