Bilingual education in physics is an important part of bilingual education in ethnic minority areas,and has an important influence on the development of ethnic minority areas.The promotion of professional accomplishment of bilingual physics teachers is the key factor in developing bilingual education in physics.The ability of curriculum as an important part of bilingual physics teachers' professional quality,the study of bilingual teachers' curriculum ability is not only beneficial to the improvement of teachers' professional quality,but also to the quality of bilingual education in science education in minority areas.This research adopts the method of theory and empirical researches have carried on systematic analysis and discussion of bilingual physics teacher's teaching ability.This article mainly carries on the following several aspects research:Firstly,the curriculum objectives of bilingual physics in secondary schools have been defined on the basis of existing studies.According to the requirements of the curriculum objectives,the connotation of the curriculum ability of the bilingual teachers in physics is determined.Secondly,the author explores the composition of curriculum ability of bilingual physics teachers on the basis of Taylor's curriculum theory and the training target of bilingual course in middle school physics.On this basis,a questionnaire and an interview outline for the development of the curriculum ability of bilingual teachers in middle school physics are compiled.Thirdly,the questionnaire data and interview results are combined to analyze the present situation and existing problems of the curriculum ability of bilingual teachers in physics.It also discusses the feasible strategy to promote the development of bilingual physics teachers' curriculum ability in middle school.Through the research,it is found that the development of bilingual physics teacher's curriculum ability is not perfect,mainly in the following points:Firstly,although bilingual teachers have preliminary curriculum awareness,they still lack systematic curriculum theory.Secondly,bilingual physics teachers have their own ideas in the design and implementation of curriculum content,but they lack creativity and autonomy.Thirdly,bilingual physics teachers lack the correct understanding of curriculum evaluation.Based on the findings of this study,the author puts forward feasible strategies for the improvement of the curriculum ability of bilingual physics teachers from three aspects,namely,education departments,schools and teachers themselves:Firstly,the education department should improve the bilingual education system of physics and pay more attention to the curriculum ability of bilingual physics teachers.Secondly,schools should provide a good platform for bilingual teachers in physics.Thirdly,the autonomy of bilingual physics teachers is the key factor to improve curriculum ability.
