Nowadays,the disadvantage of traditional colleges and universities teaching mode has appeared constantly.As a new teaching mode,“Flipped Class” has brought great impact and shock to the education field in recent years.Educators have to start thinking that whether there will be a compatibility between traditional education method and flipped class method,or even flipped class teaching method may replace traditional teaching method some day in the future.Flipped class mode,however,started late in China relatively,the theory and practical research is not perfect enough.This paper aim to put forward a scientific optimization scheme for providing some ideas for the development of China higher education by comparing and studying the advantages and disadvantages between the two different education methods.This paper clarified the main theoretical basis and practical research of traditional teaching method and flipped class teaching method in China and abroad by mainly using the research methodology of literature research,comparative research and case study method and some other methodologies.Through the comparative study on the two kinds of teaching methods in the practice of colleges and universities,this paper analyzed differences of teaching idea,teaching content,teaching process and teaching effect between these two methods.Aiming at to the disadvantages of two kinds of teaching methods,author attempted to put forward an optimizing plan.On the attitude toward these two kinds of teaching mode,we should hold the dialectical thinking.We should continue to maintain and develop the advantages and deepen the optimization of the shortage of traditional teaching mode.We need to implement the "student-centered" education idea,pay attention to student course preparation before class,improve the students' engagement through the whole teaching process and enrich the current education teaching evaluation system.As to the flipped class teaching method,we should hold a positive not blindly attitude of encouragement.Educators need to filter the participation of the flipped class,be "for each classcondition",drive to improve students' autonomous learning,and improve the comprehensive quality of teachers and enthusiasm of class participation,providing the necessary software and hardware equipment support,establishing good communication platform for teaching resources sharing.In the process of education reform,we need to stand on the situation of Chinese class teaching,understanding what changes have science and technology brought to our education and information network,thinking on the issues exist in current education system in depth.The traditional education mode cannot be an excuse of "wet behind the ears" to college students,and online education cannot compromise to convenience by lowing the education quality.Education reform should let both online and offline methods raise their advantages,let students to integrate the theory and application during their study,promote the quality of university student.
