The development of information and technology has brought the education revolution, which provides us the opportunity of realizing the Flipped Classroom Model. In America, each school which implements this teaching model adopts different ways of implementation based on their own characters. This model meets the needs of students’ personalized learning, which is proved to produce huge effect in classroom teaching in the United States. Facing a new teaching model appearing in21st century, our educational circle also starts the exploration and practice of it. But in practice, we should be clear the actual situation of our country’s education, find a bounding points between the Flipped Classroom Model and a new round of curriculum reform in our country. Only by doing like that can we really realize that this new teaching model takes root in our country.This thesis is divided into five parts. In the introducing part, the author discusses the reason of this study, research contents and research methods. In the first part, through a comprehensive and in-depth literature research, in combination with the writing purpose of this thesis, the author defines the concept of Flipped Classroom Model, analizes the misunderstanding and the essence of this model, and tease the difference between the traditional classroom model and Flipped Classroom Model and the historical development of it, which can give us full demonstrative understanding of Flipped Classroom Model. At the same time, the author will define the Flipped Classroom Model from a classroom teaching angle based on the analisis of the existing domestic and foreign definition. In the second part of thesis, the author will state the theoretical basis of flipped classroom model in detail. In the third part, the author discusses the teaching process,the teaching strategy and the creative teaching evaluation of the Flipped Classroom Model which adopted by the Woodland Park High School in the United States. In the fourth part, the author analizes the problem which appears in the process of America’s implementation, analizes the advantages and disadvantages of this model, which give us a comprehensive understanding of the model. Finally, through literature research and case study, the author summarizes the small scale practice and the existing problem of implementing this model in our country,make a deep analysis about the idea behind the flipped classroom, and puts forward the suggestions on the implementation of the practice of our country.Through this thesis, we can have a comprehensive understanding of this model. Facing the new teaching model which generates in America, we should be clear China’s actual classroom teaching reality, really understand deep reflection on the current teaching problems which Flip Classroom Model brings to us. Only in this way can we avoid superficial following the trend, find a "nodes" where the Flip Classroom Model can take root in our country, and realize the "students—centered" teaching goal in classroom teaching.
