Facing the new situation of reform and development,in order to promote the improvement and progress of Chinese reading teaching,which requires a group of excellent Chinese educators who love and are familiar with the front-line Chinese language teaching to solve the new problems encountered in the reform and open up the new thinking of teaching Chinese reading.With the new curriculum reform,in the contemporary education world,emerge a large number of outstanding adultescent teachers of Chinese language,among them,Cheng Xiang is one of the outstanding representatives.With his excellent professional quality and unique understanding of Chinese education,he has conducted in-depth research on the relevant theories of Chinese education.He has published more than 100 academic papers and 10 monographs.Cheng Xiang put forward the basic pattern of Chinese reading teaching composed of "original understanding","follow-up comprehension" and "basic understanding",classifying the target levels of reading teaching and summarizing the theoretical principles of reading teaching.In the basic idea of Chinese reading teaching,Cheng Xiang divides the teaching objectives of Chinese reading into three levels of "habit,accumulation and understanding","experience,perception and pondering",and "evaluation,appreciation and inquiry".Each level complements each other and increases progressively in difficulties,which is the base of using appropriate teaching methods.He believes that Chinese reading teaching is the procedures from "original understanding" to "follow-up understanding" and "basic understanding" under the guidance of teachers,which is based on the development rules of students’ reading comprehension ability,and makes the concept of dynamic generation run through reading teaching.Mr.Cheng’s teaching art of reading teaching makes analysis mainly in four aspects of introduction,questioning,language and control,the teaching purpose of which is to promote the overall development of Chinese language literacy with practical methods enhancing students’ reading ability.In the classroom characteristics of Chinese reading teaching,he believes that the four elements of teachers and students,teaching materials,teaching materials,is a dynamic,interactive communication.This paper points out that reading teaching is the unity of the nature of classroom teaching and the contradiction of text value.Humanistic care and Chinese character should be given equal emphasis.For the theoretical guiding principle of reading teaching,Cheng Xiang put forward the principles of "adhere to the text teaching","respect for the style rules","pay attention to experience","cultivate language ability","pay attention to learning process","explain and training",combined with the improvement of students’ reading ability,set the standard for the implementation of reading teaching norms.At the same time,Cheng believes that the teaching of Chinese reading has its own unique cultural mission.It clarifies that Chinese reading teaching has the dual task of improving the students’ reading comprehension and shaping healthy personality.At the same time,teachers should be through continuous learning to enhance cultural accomplishment,to be a "cultural person."In the teaching of Chinese reading literacy teachers,Cheng Xiang puts forward the connotation and evaluation standard of teaching Chinese teachers’ reading ability,the key is to study teachers guide students reading comprehension level of development,to promote students’ learning from the unknown to the known,the book knowledge into subjective ability.At the same time,Cheng Xiang believes that teachers’ personality charm comes from the love of teachers to students and education,and has played a role model for the students.Cheng Xiang encourages teachers to explore the spirit of scholars is faced with new problems,the courage to challenge,independent thinking,dare to put forward new ideas,pay attention to teaching and research in the classroom practice,and through continuous exploration and reflection to realize teachers’ professional growth and occupation awareness.In a word,Cheng Xiang thought is the Chinese reading teaching based on the long-term practice of Chinese education,which is closely connected with the knowledge of related disciplines,and then summarizes the teaching theory of regularity and innovation.Cheng Xiang in the nature of keeping the language at the same time taking into account the characteristics of classroom teaching,and strive to return to the original language teaching,the construction of a distinctive Chinese education model.The theory of Cheng Xiang thought in the teaching of Chinese reading tells us that Chinese teachers should be based on the actual teaching,adhere to educational beliefs,in the unremitting exploration summary,encourage teachers to enhance the ability of occupation into a virtuous cycle to promote the education of teachers’ self-regulated learning ability,actively adapt to the new requirements of present education reform,the pursuit of teaching theory and ability gradually mature and perfect.
