Education made a great effect on Japanese Modernization,from the Meiji Restoration,the new established Japanese Meiji government took the education as the key of Japan's development.The female education is an important part of Japanese education system.This paper is about the early Meiji period,1868 to 1886.The Meiji government established in 1868,made Adjustments of the Education and abandoned the Amendment of the Bill of Education in 1886.These years also been called the Period of European Idea because of the Japanese new government brought many Western education thoughts into their country,It was the starting point of the Japanese modern education.The female education of Japan began from the Middle age.It was an old tradition of the Japanese upper classes to made the females of their families been well educated.The rise of the Japanese modern female education was pushed by the Japanese Meiji government,western specialists and Japanese enlightenment philosophers.This can be regarded as the starting point of Japanese modern education,because of the Meiji government took various of explorations of modern female education system and made policy to learns the theory of female education in Western education.The great Japanese act The School System past In 1872,which started the engine of the Japanese modern education.The act was abandonded because of its disadvantages in 1879,and government adjusted the policy,past The Act of Education and The Adjustment of the Act of Education.After that,the conservative Confucianism put an end of the Period of European Idea.School girls began to learn how to become a housewife,and the female education took on the highway towards Militarism.With the development of the female education,Japanese females whom received modern education became gradually awaken,after that was a big change of the femalein family,marriage and social position.Various of office ladies came up and the women rights movements arised.The Meiji female education made Japan took advantage in Asia,even its revolution was not easy and the policy became conservative in its later time.
