Through a lot of experimental research,James Asher who is a famous psychology professor put forward total physical response in the 1960 s.This method advocate the combination of language and behavior,and use body language to teach a foreign language.During English teaching,in accordance with the order of the "listen before said",letting them observe and simulate body language,finally they can output language naturally.But,the most important part is that using body language to teach a foreign language.Total physical response produced so much favourable comment from the teachers and scholars since it introduced into China.In China,it has been used commonly in English teaching.In the primary school,total physical response has been widely used in the English teaching,but there is not enough research in vocabulary teaching.The author want to pass the hypothesis that the use of the whole body reaction method exists between teachers and students of a general principles of the performance,at the same time such a general rule are defined as a set of actions represent can identify the characteristic of the key attributes of a concept.Then,the author design action on English vocabulary teaching,practice in the elementary school classroom.To test the vocabulary action design is reasonable,whether can improve the students' interest in learning English,stimulate their potential energy to learn English,improve the students' cognitive ability,strengthen students' ability of English communication in life.Through practice,to find and solve problems,and put forward Suggestions,still hope this article help primary school English teaching.The first part of this article mainly expounds the reason of my choice,from two aspects of theory and practice to determine the selected topic significance.Define the whole body reaction method of teaching,teaching performance,primary school English classroom,students as the key words.Sorting and analyzing the related literature athome and abroad and the lack of research were analyzed,and find the research question,explore the research train of thought and research methods.From Wu GuiQiao primary school present situation,the teaching faculty,students,curriculum,teaching content to analysis the teaching practice.In this paper,the second part on the basis of the theoretical foundation of the TPR method,the teaching procedure,teaching characteristics and the meaning of the general principles of the teaching,this paper provides the theory basis for vocabulary teaching.The third and fourth part of the article,the vocabulary teaching design,teaching practice,and the analysis of the problems in vocabulary teaching.Finally,in the fifth part expounds the teaching effect and teaching advice.
