Chinese and American take examination to identified teachers.The contents of teacher qualification examination is a important component of teacher qualification examination,which a decisive factor to the effectiveness of it.Until now,there is many study on the contents of teacher qualification examination at home and abroad.however,it lack of in-depth study.So this study has theoretical and practical significance.This study's main research methods is literature method and Beredi compares four steps,the secondary research methods is text analysis method and history method.On the one hand,this paper focus on the historical development laws of the content of teacher examination between Chinese and the American.On the other hand,it makes a multi-dimensional comparative analysis on contents.The aim of this study is to acquire experience and enlightenments from comparative.At the same time,it also analyzes the problems of the content in two countries and puts forward to some suggestions.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction,mainly includes the proposition,the purpose of the study,the literature review,the theoretical basis and the concept definition;The second part involves the development and reason of teacher qualification examination contents in depth;The third part focus on the current situation of the Chinese national examination and American Praxis?;The fourth part explores a comparative analysis of the content of current teacher examination between the two countries in the criterion of formulate,the procedure of formulate,the target of the contents,the media of contents and so on;The fifth part according to sufficiency and insufficiency of two countries,put forward some reasonable suggestions for Chinese.There are many problems in this study which we can improve,such as,lacking professional participation in formulate contents,the contents is too uniform,the subject and amounts of examination too little,teaching test is not enough.American lack of government participation and the amount of questions is too much,at the same time,the scope of application is not widely.According these problems,this study put forward to some suggestion to change situation.Our country should established professional groups and increased tradition contents of every minorities.In addition,we should increased question and subject and so on to change our country problems.
