Social Group Work Intervention Of Child Sexual Abuse Prevention

Incidents of child sexual abuse have occurred frequently in recent years,and the number of the incidents keeps rising,which has aroused the attention of all the society.Researches about child sexual abuse before mainly focused on the investigation of child sexual abuse,and the study of coping strategies.Most coping strategies of child sexual abuse were in the sight of legal perfection,psychology therapy,and school education,etc..However,it is rare to see the research on intervention of social work service about child sexual abuse.This paper tried to explore a feasible method of group work service in the education of child sexual abuse prevention,and form a practical operation mode based on theoretical research and practical explorations,and then the awareness and ability of children and parents in child sexual security could be improved.Firstly,before the group was carried out,the author learned through the observation,questionnaires and interviews,to understand the real needs of children and their families,and the necessity to offer the group work service of child sexual abuse prevention.Secondly,the author designed and planed the group work service according to the social learning theory and group development model,and intervene with the approach of group work.Finally,the author discused about the effectiveness of group work service with the process evaluation and results evaluation,and refected the gains and losses of group work service.The author found that group work of child sexual abuse prevention not only can effectively reach the service target,but also show the advantages in responsing demands,mutual support,contacting with the facts.However,the effectiveness of the group work service declined by the weakness of professional knowledge and methods,etc..So the author analysed the methods and skills during the group work service deeply,based on the experiences of the child sexual abuse prevention group,and summed up the general mode of the child sexual abuse prevention group,in coping the possible weak links during the group service,which can be the reference of improving the practical effect and promoting the group work service of child sexual abuse prevention.
