Objective:Table tennis is the key project to win the Olympic game in China.Forehand loop,as one of the most important techniques,is complex in skills.It uses shoulder joint in high frequency.There is many compensatory action,and it is easily to get injured.The purpose of this study is to test the order of activing muscles when using forehand loop,scapular function,thoracic vertebral flexibility,and the dymanics characteristics of table tennis forehand loop.To learn about the order of activing muschles when using forehand loop and the characteristics of scapular dysfunction of table tennis players.After the targeted rehabilitation training,to explore the effect of improving the scapular dysfuncion of table tennis players by doing the scapular stability and thoracic flexibility training.To provide theoretical and practical basis for the prevention and treatment of shoulder injuries of table tennis players.Method: This study selected 30 students majoring table tennis in atheletic institute of Beijing Sport University as the subjects,10 students without scapular dysfunction as the control group,20 students with scapular dysfunction were randomly divided into shoulder thoracic group and shoulder group.All of the studetns did the scapular dysfunction test and dynamic test.The shoulder thoracic group did scapular stability and thoracic flexibility training.The shoulder group only did scapular stability training,3 times a week,lasted for 6 weeks.Did test again after finished training.Results: Compared with the control group,the differences of balance angle of scapula,ATE and LSST of three positions between two side of scapular dysfunction group are significantly higher(p<0.05),and the result of Y Balance holding by dominant arm(p<0.05)and the differences of the thoracic rotation between each side(p<0.01)are lower,the results of the strength test is higher but the speed of hitting ball is lower(p<0.05).Using forehand loop,trapezius and pectoralis major muscle activate late.After 6 weeks training,the differences of balance angle of scapula and ATE become lower(p<0.01),the result of LSST of the shoulder group in position one&two and shoulder thoracic group in position two become lower(p<0.05),Y balance test of shoulder group in two sides become higher,and of shoulder thoracic group becomes much higher(p<0.05),the ROM of thoracic rotation in dominant side and the differences of ROM become higher(p<0.01),and shoulder thoracic group becomes much higher(p<0.05),ECC/CON becomes low,the speed of forehand loop become faster,and the shoulder thoracic group become much faster,the order of muscle activation of shoulder thoracic group is similar to the control group,but the biceps in shoulder group still activates early.Conclusion:(1)There is an offset phenomenon in the position of scapular of table tennis athletes with scapular dysfunction,lack of the flextion of thoracic,lower sensory function of the shoulder's proprioception,which leads to decreased stability of joint and loss of control,less of the muscle coordination.The order of muscle activation of scapular dysfunction group does not match with forehand loop technique.(2)The shoulder training changes the position and function of scapular,and improve the performance.And with thoracic training,the change is more significant,and the order of mucsle activation matches better.
