Virtual Reality is a hot technology in the computer communities such as HCI.By wearing the virtual reality glasses or other external hardware equipment,users can be immersed in the computer-generated environment,so as to give users amazing sensory experience.Researchers do a lot of work around virtual reality,but also the applying virtual reality into a number of areas,like design and teaching field.Combined with the immersion and expansion feature of virtual reality,the traditional class can greatly improve the student's cognitive experience.But at the same time,it should be realized that the virtual reality emphasizes the stimulation of the whole senses,but at this stage,the visual and auditory rendering effect of virtual reality equipment is far greater than the tactile experience.Although many of current commercial products and researches have showed their demos,but there is not a unified standard yet.Based on this statement,the purpose of this paper is to explore the new form of tactile feedback device applications under the virtual reality environment.In the field of human-computer interaction,the tactile equipment is divided into three categories: vibration feedback,pressure feedback and array displays feedback.Corresponding to this statement,the tactile feedback devices under virtual reality are mostly based on these three categories.In recent years,there have been attempts to apply electravibration technology to human-computer interactive tactile feedback,such as the Tesla Touch published by Disney Research in 2010.On the one hand,the electrostatic vibration feedback device occupies a small area,by attaching to the screen around,it can generate the touch sense of electrovibration vibration;on the other hand,compared with most of the current equipment used in the motor vibration and handheld controller,the electravibration feedback device proposed in this paper uses a rigid capacitive screen as a carrier,which can make the screen generate obvious convex and concave three-dimensional touchable and continuous vibration effect by controlling the signal of the electrostatic,so as to achieve the simulation for the virtual object height and material effect.Based on the theory of immersion of virtual reality technology and the theory of electrostatic vibration,this paper designs the application of architectural experience teaching.The teaching application captures the user action by using the VICON System.While the object is moving,the tactile device moves to it relatively,simulating the virtual reality building experience with the tactile display,and making the fidelity evaluation based on the experience.In order to implement the hardware support of the tactile interaction under the virtual reality scene,this paper firstly developed the vibration feedback device based on the principle of electrovibration force.The device uses the rigid capacitive screen as the carrier,controlled by the generated signal of the electrovibration force through the single chip processor and distributes it on the screen surface.After the infrared detection array captures the user's finger position,the controller can generate obvious convex or concave three-dimensional touch and continuous vibration experience,and according to the user's finger movement to make a real-time voltage changes,so as to achieve the virtual object height and material effects.In the process of simulating the texture of the material and rendering the voltage to the surface of the screen,this paper also designs an improved shadow shape restoration model and a high compression model for 2D and 3D objects.In addition,this paper presents two pilot studies: the perceived threshold study and the combination of parameters study to verify the subjective feelings of the user when they use the device.In the a pilot study,this paper determines the voltage range and the related material parameters which are more suitable for the user to operate the equipment.In the user experiment of building experience application,this paper verifies the electrovibration feedback tactile device has the ability to enhance the user's sense of immersion in the virtual reality environment and enhance the experience effect in the specific application situation by collecting the user's subjective fidelity evaluation.In addition,the article analyzes the disadvantage like low mobility and make a prospect.
