The Study On The Application Of Virtual Reality Technology In The Skill Training Of Occupation Education

With the rapid development of China’s economy, society, industrialization,information and occupation, industry enterprise has raised new and high demand tovocational education personnel training, especially the further demand forhigh-quality skilled talents. The new emphasis is vocational skill training ofhigh-quality skilled talents.Virtual reality technology (referred to as VR) is a new technology in computerfield, has become a hot spot in education application. It can play a positive role instudents’ skills improving and hardware investment saving. The virtual experiment isnew forms of experiment, which can partially or totally replace the traditionalexperiments’ hardware and software operating environment. The experimenters cancomplete a variety of experimental process like in the real environment.This thesis consists of seven parts. The first part introduces the investigationstatus of virtual reality technology at present and discusses the research backgroundand significance. The second part analyzes the theoretical basis of the virtual realitytechnology application in education. The related technologies are analyzed. Finallywe select the Virtools as development tool. The third part analyzes the currentproblems of vocational education. The mainly study the advantages anddisadvantages of virtual reality technology application in vocational education. Thefourth part takes photography as an example; propose a framework design flow chartof a virtual experiment and design the each link and function in detail. The fifth part,according to design links, development the photography virtual experiment. The sixthpart discusses key technologies of3D modeling and interaction method; finallydevelop a3D virtual experiment. The seventh part is a summary; get a clearperspective of virtual reality technology in education.The paper analysis the virtual experiment of related theory and its application ineducation. Then suggested measures how to design and development the virtualexperiment with Virtools, providing useful guidelines for future studies.
