With the implementations of a new round of curriculum reform and reforms on college enrollment system,the information technology curriculum in senior high school has encountered its new development opportunities.But it is hard for the insufficient interestingness of the current curriculum to arouse learning interest of students and achieve satisfactory teaching results.This article is aimed at introducing game-based learning into the information technology curriculum in senior high school,arousing interest of students with the help of game activities,enriching curriculum contents in virtue of game resources,expanding teaching models by means of game thoughts,and driving curriculum teaching towards developments in diversified ways.This article carries out researches with focus on the following four aspects.(1)Make literature summaries on the basis of domestic and overseas research conditions of game-based learning;define game-based learning,educational games and other relevant concepts;and set forth theoretical basis for game-based learning.(2)Develop five learning strategies for game-based learning based on psychological and learning characteristics of senior high school students as well as features of the information technology curriculum in senior high school;and combine teaching cases to state formulation processes and methods of the five learning strategies.(3)Combine teaching cases to state implementation steps and means of the five learning strategies;and evaluate their implementation effectiveness.(4)Come up with five suggestions on optimal applications of the five learning strategies.This article analyzes and integrates the information technology curriculum in senior high school to summarize a set of methods to formulate and implement the five learning strategies and form feasible and effective programs for the game-based learning,which has achieved ideal teaching effects.There are also some shortcomings in the paper:(1)The researches on relevant theories are not deep enough,especially the latest research theory and results,and theoretical research still needs to be continued.(2)Only compulsory,elective 1 and elective 2 modules are studied and practiced and other elective modules have not yet been involved in,so the research scopes still need to be expanded.(3)Scientific and comprehensive learning strategy evaluation program has not yet developed and it still needs to explore a more comprehensive,objective and scientific evaluation program.
