Research On The Development Of ITF,PTR,USPTA Tennis Coach Certification In China

The comprehensive quality and professionality of coaches is the key to restrict and affect the development of competitive sports,improving the level of coach is one of the competition conditions countries have,cultivating high-quality coaches is the main way to achieve scientific training in sports.In recent years,China has made great progress in tennis,which is closely related to the continuous exploration of Chinese tennis coaches.However the overall level of China’s tennis coaches is not high.Therefore,we should accurately understand the current situation of the development of tennis coaches training courses,give reasonable and practical suggestions to further improve the level of tennis in china.Through the literature research method,the questionnaire survey method and the expert interview method,this paper systematically studies the training system of the three domestic tennis coaches training courses,and provides reference for the future development of the domestic tennis coaches training course.The conclusions are as follows;1.China tennis association training class is divided into primary,intermediate,advanced and special sessions.PTR and USPTA training classes are divided into junior and senior.2.China Tennis Association training courses are longer,richer training.PTR and USPTA training sessions are shorter and the training content is not rich enough.3.People who are participating in the China Tennis Association training courses are mostly national,provincial team coaches and retired athletes.Participating in the PTR and USPTA trainers are mostly club coaches and tennis special students.4.China Tennis Association training instructors are mostly the head officers in the country or provincial offices.USPTA training instructors also have part of the national team served coach or national team retired athletes.PTR training instructors are mostly tennis club and amateur school coaches.5.China Tennis Association training courses apply higher conditions.PTR,USPTA training conditions are not high.According to the present situation of the development of tennis coaches in China,the following suggestions are as follow:Firstly,pay attention to the hierarchical training of tennis coaches.Primary training content is simple,with less time,lower requirements;training should pay more attention to practical operation.Advanced training content is complex,the need for a long time to concentrate on research,higher requirements,training should pay more attention to the combination of theory and practice.Secondly,promote the internationalization and localization of training materials.The training content of tennis coaches should not only summarize the experience,and to integrate the reasonable content of Europe and the United States tennis coaches training materials,and gradually structure the localization and internationalization of China’s tennis coaches training materials.Thirdly,moderate participation in the number of tennis training courses to 25-30 people,this will help to improve the quality of tennis coaches training.Fourthly,at present,China’s tennis coaches training instructors have technical level to meet the status quo,but because of fewer instructors,once attendance increasing,there will be difficulties in the deployment.In the future training process should continue to absorb new excellent mentor to join the training team.Fifthly,increase the application ways and places of training courses,establish registration point in some sports colleges and universities or institutions,while the amount of increase in the number of applicants,let more different levels of coaches have the opportunity to participate in,to further improve the development of tennis in china.
