The academic record of students is not only a paramount standard of their higher vocational education and employment,but a key element for their work direction.Accordingly,it arouses attentions from educators and people from other walks of life.Apart from efforts of students,teaching methods of teachers and qualities of schools,family as a main living place for their children,still has vital importance to their academic records.There are increasing scholars endeavoring to study on family factors which influences school records of students.The paper mainly explores influences of family cultural capitals on academic records of students based on previous collection and study.Taking Bourdieu's classifications of cultural capitals as measurement indexes,the paper tries to find out relations between cultural capital and academic records of students,providing reasonable suggestions for family education and narrowing differences of academic records caused by different cultural capital.The paper consists of seven chapters.Chapter One is a brief introduction to the background,objectives and significances of the study.It sorts out and analyzes relevant documents;Chapter Two is defying relative conceptions and presenting theories basis of the paper;Chapter Three states contents and methods of the study,which includes questionnaire survey,depth interviews and so forth;Chapter Four describes and takes junior school students of four primary schools in Datong City,Shanxi Province as the object.It organizes the questionnaire survey and builds the regression model;Chapter Five reaches the conclusion by ways of status analysis,correlation analysis,multiple linear regression and variance analysis from three dimensions.The method is SPSS23.0;Chapter Six is exploring the study conclusion;Chapter Seven is providing effective suggestions in an aim to enrich family cultural capitals based on above questions.Main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,There has no obvious relations between family activities and academic records of subjective cultural capitals;Cultural atmosphere in the family,education-oriented expectation of their parents,parents-children communications and educations methods of their parents do impact academic records of students.They will make academic records improve to 0.303?0.360?0.180 and 0.282 times.Secondly,There has no obvious relations between auxiliary learning tools andacademic records of objective cultural capitals;The collection of books in the family,Parents for their children to buy extracurricular books and supplementary books on the situation of the students have a significant impact on academic records.They will make academic records improve to 0.184?0.183 and 0.184 times.Thirdly,There has a significant influence between the highest education of their fathers and mothers in the institutionalized cultural capital.They will make academic records improve to 0.251 and 0.14 times.
