With the deepening of education reform and development,teachers' curriculum knowledge is becoming more and more attentive from all walks of life.The purpose of education is to the development of students,and it can't develop without the teachers,so the teachers and teachers' curriculum knowledge will have a great effect on the future development of the students,as well it not only affects the teacher's teaching behavior,affects the improvement of teachers' teaching ability,but also affect the students' learning.Thus,courses for teacher's curriculum knowledge have become the focus of this thesis research.On the basis of the relevant literature theories,reference the domestic and foreign related researches,selects English teachers of the junior middle school as the research object to create “the present situation of junior middle school English teachers' curriculum knowledge questionnaire”,with the dimension of test reliability and validity of questionnaire and factors analysis on the basis of constant revision to formed the high reliability and validity of the questionnaire finally.This study selected part of the 300 English teachers of the junior high school randomly to study the present situation of the teacher's curriculum knowledge.This study bases on the questionnaire data analysis by SPSS13.0,sums up the following conclusions:(1)The characteristic of junior middle school English teachers' curriculum knowledge:Rural English teachers' curriculum knowledge level is poorer than urban's,Theoretical knowledge is insufficient,The overall level of practical knowledge is poor,With the increasing of seniority,policy knowledge become worse and worse.(2)The reason of the problem about junior middle school English teachers' curriculum knowledge:The disadvantages of examination system in our country,The hysteresis of Educational policy in carrying out,Teachers' trainingstructure is unreasonable,Training opportunity,school facilities and teachers disposible time is insufficient,Teachers' curriculum knowledge updating consciousness and teaching reflection is weak.(3)how to improve the present situation :the government allocates educational resources res onablly to shorten the gap between urban and rural school,Optimizing the structure of training and enrich the conent of training,Optimize the curriculum idea to keeping the pace with times,Provide the communication platform to strengthen communication,Improving school infrastructure to provide a good environment for English teachers,strengthen the consciousness of curriculum to participate in the new curriculum,Improve learning abilite to enrich teachers' curriculum knowledge,Improve the ability of curriculum innovation,teachers should be good at reflection summary to have unique style.
