With the further development of educational informatization and the increasingly mature of computer technology,the big data of education gradually attracted much attention.In this context,learning analytics(LA)was emerged as a efficiently technology that manage,analyze and utilize educational data,then become an emerging application in educational technology.As a supplementary teaching application,LA needs corresponding model to explain and guide the implementation process.Most existing learning analytics models have strong pertinence and high efficiency because their different design purposes.However,the user experience and practical application of LA need to be studied deeply.This paper analysis the existing LA models firstly,then divided learning analytics model into three categories: feedback loop model,interactive mesh model and multi-factor model.Then compared the models and extract their design process and influencing factors to provide reference for constructing the LA models.On this basis,we integrated the object – oriented method into LA to constructing an object-oriented learning analytics model with the angle of stakeholders.The feature of this model is design learners class though the object-oriented method,set up directional intervention under the constraint of the application environment,to realize the individuality teaching.This model designed a method to quantify the learning data variables under the constraints and the objectives and put the association of stakeholders distinctly by abstracting and encapsulating the classes of objects.In practice,the model considered the influencing factors,based on the learning needs and the teaching objectives to set up differ rights and constraints for stakeholders.Therefore,it highlights the importance of learners and emphasizes the humanistic factors in learning analytics.This paper carried on a teaching experiment for the students in two parallel classes of the same grade,applied the model to the teaching of computer operating system course under the mixed teaching environment of network teaching platform,and verify the feasibility and validity of the model.The experimental results show that the object-oriented learning analytics model can effectively improve the students' learning effect,then optimize the teaching process and promote the individualized learning.
