A Study On The Employment Intention Of Graduating Students Of Sports Training In Henan

The problem of university graduate employment has been the focus of the whole for a long time.Since the college expansion of 1999,China’s higher education gradually changes from elite education to popular education,university graduates is increasing year by year.With the rapid development of social economy,the negative impact of the financial crisis on employment is not completely eliminated,as we all know,the university graduates employment situation is more and more serious.After decades of hard study,graduate students go out of the school,step into society.With family expectations and the aim of realizing their life values,there is no doubt that a good job is of great significance to their life.There are 89 colleges and universities having the qualification for setting up sports training major in China,among them,there are 6 universities in Henan province.But through the analysis of data from the career guidance center of Henan province and the education department of Henan province,we know that the employment situation of sports training major in Henan province is not optimistic.The research has surveyed the employment intention of graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province,and has analyzed the various factors influencing the employment intention,discussed the problem of employment situation,then put forward to the suggestion of promoting employment.It will be helpful for graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province.In this paper,the research mainly adopts the method of documentation,expert interview,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and other research methods,This paper investigates the attitude toward employment prospects of graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province,and the intention of choosing jobs and employment areas,the consideration of compensation,employment information source,the need of specific guidance from the school,and the lack of ability in the process of job search.The primary conclusions of the research have followed:(1)Employment intention in employment of graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province is diverse.They mainly trend to all kinds of schools,institutions,sports industry administrative department,self-employment.(2)the intention of employment areas are diversified,Mainly concentrated in coastal areas andeconomically developed regions such as Beijing,Shenzhen,Guangzhou,and mainland provincial capital,and medium-sized cities,but few to choose to go to the villages and towns.(3)The employment expectation value of graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province is generally high.They are more practical on the choice of employment school,they not only choose professional work,but also will to work in the professional mismatch.(4)When they chose jobs,their own development is the most important thing,the second choice is to listen to their parents,teacher,lover,etc.(5)Students is generally believed that they lack the interview skills and teaching experience,the mature attitude and good communication skills during the interview process.Most students hope to gain a more comprehensive career guidance from the school,to raise their employment rate.The employment situation is severe for the graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province.College students must pay attention to cultural knowledge and professional skills,improve their practical ability and comprehensive quality,set up the correct outlook on life,view and values,maintain a positive attitude and well prepared to face the employment problems.The school should strengthen the guidance about students’ employment,and the political-ideological education to the students,for the sake of cultivating compound talent in sports to meet the needs of the society for our nation.All in all,according to the result of investigation and study,this paper summarizes the factors affecting the employment of graduates majoring in sports training in the university of Henan province,and puts forward related suggestions.I think it has important reference significance to solve the problem of college students’ employment.
