Study On The Geography Of Traditional Villages In Western Henan Province

The unique geographical environment in Western Henan Province and long history culture,nurtured the great geographical features and rich types of rural settlements and vernacular dwellings.The traditional village ingenious layout?diversified village appearance?exquisite architecture and rich and colorful intangible cultural heritage,is a typical agricultural civilization in Henan,showcasing the western area of Henan natural landscape and cultural landscape,reflects the toilers' wisdom of building,has a strong historical and cultural charm.However,under the contradiction between the protection of traditional culture in rural areas and the pursuit of modern life style of rural residents,the protection and development of traditional villages are facing severe challenges.Study on geography in western Henan traditional villages,to the location ?morphology?residential value and characteristics,clarified the status and influence of the village population hollowization,provide a basis for the relevant departments to formulate conservation planning,it is necessary to.This paper selects Henan province in Western Pingdingshan?Luoyang? Sanmenxia three city area within the scope of the 54 national traditional villages as the research object,using the“ National Traditional Villages Management Information System ” and traditiona village map and other related information,starting from the area of natural and humanistic environment,using the method of literature ? field investigation?the combination of inductive and comparative method? map analysis method?qualitative and quantitative Methods,analyzes the characteristics of the distribution?location ?spatial pattern?residential and population hollow in Western Henan Province traditional villages,summarizes the regional characteristics of the traditional villages in western Henan Province,and then provides the reference for the traditional style protection.The results of this paper are as follows:1,The distribution characteristics of the traditional Villages in Western Henan Province: Mountains area more?plains area less;Village was built in the Yuan Dynasty ago mainly to;2,The main location types of the traditional Villages in Western Henan Province: The location characteristics of plain and mountain of the two major terrain area of traditional villages are divided,including plain types are mainly nearwater defense and road traffic type two;mountain types for the back mountain water?the traffic control?the defensive type and the loess platform type and so on.Secondly,the factors influencing the site selection are analyzed,and the water source,Feng shui,traffic and defense have great influence on the traditional village.3,The main spatial contours and street space of the traditional villages in Western Henan Province:Spatial pattern on the plain and mountain areas of two major zones of traditional villages are divided,the results show that the spatial contours of the traditional villages in the plain areas are mainly clustered clusters,and the spatial contours of the traditional villages in the mountain areas are more complicated.Finally,the influencing factors are analyzed,that the natural environment?the etiquette culture?social and economic factors to the spatial pattern of the traditional villages in Western Henan Province has a certain influence.4,The dwellings characteristics of the traditional villages in Western Henan Province: Based on the related data combined with the field investigation on the characteristics of traditional dwellings in traditional villages are analyzed,summed up the courtyard?cave-style?kiln courtyard?stone houseand other residential architectural style and characteristics,Combined with the corresponding house as an example.5,The population hollowing degree of the traditional villages in Western Henan Province: Hollowization overall is not serious,but there are still some villages are highly hollow villages,showing the hilly areas?middle income section?agricultural villages population hollowing serious characteristics.In addition,the main factors leading to population hollowing and the impact on the development of traditional villages were analyzed accordingly.
