Study On Population Migration In Henan Province And Its Impact On Urbanization Efficiency

With the development of society,the improvement of productivity,the migration of population between different regions is the inevitable law of human social development.The spatial distribution of population and its migration can not only reflect the development of the corresponding areas,but also affect the economic development of a region,industrial structure and urban layout changes.To study the spatial distribution and migration of urban population,the status of urbanization and its efficiency,and the impact of population migration on the efficiency of urbanization is an important part of the development of urban development in Henan Province,and it is the precondition and the foundation to improve the development of Henan Province.Based on the census data of Henan Province,Henan Statistical Yearbook and related yearbooks,this paper makes a statistical analysis on the spatial distribution and migration of population in Henan Province and the history and current situation of urbanization in Henan Province,and then constructs DEA model measure the efficiency of urbanization in Henan Province and analyzes the effect of population migration on the urbanization efficiency and spatial spillover effect of Henan Province by constructing a spatial econometric model.The conclusions are as follows:First,from the population scale point of view,Henan Province has a large population base,but uneven population distribution.The population density areas are mainly concentrated in the central,eastern and northern,while the western and southern populations are relatively sparse.Through the analysis of global spatial autocorrelation,it is found that the population of Henan Province is clustering.The migrant population in Henan Province is mainly young and middle-aged,lower education level,and engaged in the occupation which is more physical-based.Population migration is mainly affected by economic and social development and policy guidance.Secondly,the development of urbanization in Henan Province has experienced four stages: slow growth,unstable fluctuation,stable and rapid development.At present,the level of urbanization in Henan Province is low,urbanization lags behind industrialization,but urban comprehensive competitiveness has risen.The urbanization efficiency of Henan Province is quite different.Generally speaking,the comprehensive efficiency of urbanization in Henan Province is declining in the past ten years,while the pure technical efficiency is relatively stable,and the decrease of the comprehensive efficiency is caused by the decrease of the scale efficiency.Thirdly,the efficiency of urbanization in Henan Province shows a high value aggregation in space.Through the spatial econometric model,it is found that there is a positive spatial spillover effect in the urbanization efficiency of Henan Province,and the efficiency of urbanization will lead to the efficiency of the surrounding cities.There is a significant positive effect on the urbanization efficiency of population in Henan Province,and there is also a positive spatial spillover effect on the urbanization efficiency of population migration,that is,population migration will improve the efficiency of urbanization.Finally,according to the current situation,Henan Province should strengthen the coordinated development between cities,rationally guide the population movement;deepen the reform of science and technology system,adhere to the connotation of development,improve urbanization efficiency,increase the central city construction investment.
