A Comparative Study On The Parenting Stress Of Parents In Urban And Rural Areas

In the family in modern society,parents not only bear the pressures from their work and life,but also undertake various pressures of raising children from the role of parents.How to reduce parental stress,so that it can better fulfill their responsibilities of parenting is a academic problem which has been concerned for a long time.A study on parenting stress of parents in urban and rural areas can not only help relieve parental anxiety,but also can appeal to social concern about the problem of parenting stress,and provide effective parenting education and social support for these parents.This study begins from the current situation and differences of parenting stress of parents in urban and rural areas and analysis the reasons of these differences,then put forward the related countermeasures to improve the differences of parenting stress of parents in urban and rural areas.This study mainly adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview.First,preliminary understand the current status of research through the methods of literature,on this basis to conduct in-depth interviews with the children's parents,trying to master more comprehensive information and data.Through the comparison and analysis the current status of parenting stress of parents in urban and rural areas where is in Shijiazhuang city of Hebei province,get a conclusion that rural areas is higher than urban.Researchers analyzed the reasons caused by these differences,mainly included four aspects which is the economy and household income gap between city and countryside,the difference of parents' education concept,the different cooperation degrees of home and kindergarten,the conflict and contradiction of inter generational education and parent-child education.According to the current situation and reason analysis of parenting stress of parents in urban and rural areas,in the light of the situation of its differences,researchers put forward countermeasures to improve its differences and describe separately from four aspects that is state,society,kindergarten and parents themselves.The national level mainly includes: accelerate the construction of rural economy,narrow the gap between urban and rural;attache great importance to the development of preschool education in city,standardize early education market;put preschool education into the compulsory education stage gradually.The social level includes: pay attention to the problem of rural children's parenting stress;pay attention to the rural parents' education,extensive publicity the right way to deal with stress;open various forms of parental education curriculum,strengthen parental education.Kindergarten level includes: strengthen cooperation and exchange between rural kindergarten and city kindergarten;rural kindergartens should take the initiative to contact with parents,understand parents' educational perplexity;kindergarten should conduct regular family education guidance for parents.Parents themselves level includes: rural parents should change the concept of education,take child as the foundation;rural parents should take the initiative to seek help,solve the puzzle of education;urban and rural parents should respect their parents,establish a harmonious relationship.
