Research On The Application Of Red Culture In The Cultivation Of University Student’s Socialist Core Values

University students are important reserve forces of social construction.Their value orientations not only have an important influence on their personal development,also have a great guiding role in the construction of spiritual civilization of the whole society.With the advancement of deepening reform,how to guide students identify and practice the socialist core values as well as help them set up correct “Three Outlooks”,this is an imp0 rtant task of university educational staff in the new era.The red culture as an advanced culture with Chinese characteristics,which spiritual kernel and value idea highly fits with the socialist core values.The red culture has the characteristics of rich contents and strong appeal,it is an important carrier and support to promote the socialist core vales students cultivate.This article had analyzed and demonstrated the application status of red culture in cultivating college students’ socialist core values by empirical interviewing some university teachers and students.Firstly,the application results are summarized as:long-term teaching practice,normative teaching contents and variety education forms of red culture laid a solid foundation for cultivating contemporary university students’ socialist core values.Secondly,this article analyzed problems existed in the application:a)A spot of effective fragment of red culture inherited by students.b)Lacking in diversity and coherence of red culture led to low teaching efficiency.c)There are more focus on extracurricular practice forms of red culture education than actual contents.d)Single red culture’s dissemination form has less attraction.According to the survey materials and current teaching practice,this article carried on the thorough analysis on reasons in problems existed in application of cultivating university students’ socialism core values.And found that the main reasons areneglecting the educational objects’ psychological demand and receptivity of red culture in the process of teaching;neglecting depth research on red gene;neglecting utilizing the new media’s function of dissemination;uncompleted safeguard mechanism of students practice in red culture education.what’s more,pluralistic social values slaked red culture education’s function etc.Finally,this article offered four aspects strategies including red culture education contents,methods,guarantee mechanism and campus environment to enhance cultivation effectiveness of socialism core values.The details are excavating and integrating red culture gene deeply,perfecting red culture education guarantee mechanism,innovating red culture education methods continuously by referencing former experience as well as constructing campus red soft environment.
