Textbook plays an important role in middle school teaching,and it is an important resource for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.Textbooks play an important role in the process of education in mainland China and Taiwan.The study of history textbooks will help us understand the state’s understanding of some historical issues.In recent years,more and more mainland scholars have turned their attention to Taiwan.In this paper,on the basis of “pep” and “Taiwan Hanlin version of” high school history textbook,the author makes comparative analysis of the two editions of the textbook in the late Qing Dynasty.The paper firstly analyzes the status quo of the two sides and different contents based on the mainland’s curriculum standards and curriculum in Taiwan.By comparing the different contents of the late Qing Dynasty presented in the two editions of the textbook,the author makes an objective understanding of the differences between the two sides.This paper is divided into five parts to carry out a comparative study of the late Qing Dynasty history in the two editions.In the first part,it explains the reasons of the research,and introduces the present situation of the comparative study of the two sides of the textbooks,and expounds the significance of the research.In the second part,the paper analyzes the different characteristics of the compilation of the two editions of textbooks from the aspects of genre,narrative style and auxiliary system..The third part is about the comparison of the late Qing Dynasty history in the “pep” and “Taiwan Hanlin version of textbooks.It presents the contents of the late Qing Dynasty history of the two edition of the textbook,and then focuses on the comparison of several important events in the textbook of the two editions.The fourth part analyzes the factors that influence the contents of the textbook in the two editions.The fifth part is the author’s analysis of Taiwan and mainland China high school history textbooks written from each other point of reference. |
