Looking at the study of children with autism,most of the research focused on the disabled and their main caregivers who make the general siblings of autistic children relatively neglected.In order to understand the interaction between the autistic children and their brothers and sisters,this study explores the relationship between the autistic children and their siblings in teenage age by using the method of interview and observation from six teenage siblings in qualitative research.The interaction of the characteristics of mutual influence,and to investigate the adolescent brothers and sisters on the future of the autistic children's views.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Children with autism and their siblings' interaction is complex: Positive and negative emotional experience coexist;Care,teaching-based complementary interaction;A little response under the one-way interaction;Interactive frequency and a low quality.2.The autistic children and their brothers and sisters affect each other: First,to the children with autism: It can provide accompanied and emotional support;but also may lead to negative emotions.Another is to the young brothers and sisters: They may have more empathy than others;may take more care responsibilities;there are a multiple pressure with them;and enjoy less attention of parents.3.The planning for the future of autistic children from the teenage brothers and sisters: They willing to bear the responsibility of future care and their career planning may be limited.At the end of the study,the researchers tried to make recommendations from the general siblings,parents,governments,and the future research,hoping to allow more people to understand the interaction between the autistic children and their siblings,so as to provide a certain basis to build a good service system for the Children with autism in future.
