Research On Cultivating University Students’ Sense Of Social Responsibility

It requires not only people with adequate knowledge and expertly skills but also people with high sense of social responsibility for the development of the society.College students live in a remarkable age where network information and values are diversified,in which case they are mentally immature and easy to influenced by undesirable phenomena.What’s even worse,a bunch of college students have weak or utterly no sense of social responsibility.The social responsibility of college students is related to practicing the socialist core values.To nurture the sense of social responsibility among college students is a vital subject for the ideological and political work in colleges under the new situation,an inevitable demand for moral education and an internal necessity for college students to success.It’s also an important insurance of creative development and an urgent need for enforcing and improving ideological and political education among college students.It needs joint efforts to carry out the work of nurturing the sense of social responsibility among college students.This article attempts to discuss the matter of nurturing the sense of social responsibility among college students from four aspects on the basis of numerous documents and researches.The first part mainly explains the cause of the selection of the subject,describes the present worldwide academic researches,and presents the research methods and ideas,the key point difficulties and innovations of the paper.The second part clarifies the relative concepts of cultivating college students’ social responsibility,and responsibility from five aspects to illustrates enriching the content of cultivating students sense of responsibility.and reveals the significance of it from the aspects of moral education and creative development.The third part analyzes the current status of the cultivation of college students’ sense of social responsibility.It concludes three achievements of the work with random sampling method and according to the outstanding problems such as the content of the cultivating is empty,the method of cultivating is relatively simple,college students’ selfcultivation is not enough and the communication of college and outside the college is not adequate.Finally makes a deep analysis of the major causes of the prominent problems of it.The fourth part brings up strategic thinking of the cultivation of college students’ sense of social responsibility based on the main problems and discusses the way to strengthen college students’ sense of social responsibility from the six aspects of enhancing the cultivation work,enriching the content of cultivating,the method of the cultivation,motivating college students,purifying the cultural environment and establishing collective forces.
