A Study On The Guiding Position Of Marxist Ideology In Colleges And Universities

Since the 18th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to task of ideology.He considers the task of ideology as necessary approach to rally people,unite forces and lead the society.The task of ideology could be closely linked with destinies of party and state.As colleges and universities are regarded as the major battleground of constructing ideology and ground of disseminating social thoughts,what could exert important influence is whether the undergraduates correctly realize and understand Marxist ideology or notIn this period of profound changes for economic,social and cultural structure as well as intense collision among various cultural thoughts in modern world,it is necessary for colleges and universities to maintain the guiding position of Marxist ideology.In new situation,only by continuously promoting construction of Marxist ideology in colleges and universities could we bring up qualified highly-competent talents;only by maintaining the guiding position of Marxist ideology could we do a good job in running socialist universities with Chinese characteristics;only by strengthening the guiding position of Marxist ideology in colleges and universities could we cement and develop harmonious socialist society to achieve Chinese dream.This text could be written in four areas as following,firstly it works out analysis and summary of concept of Marxist ideology and then introduces special functions of Marxist ideology.Secondly it analyzes the significance why guiding position of Marxist ideology should be maintained in colleges and universities,which will provide universities in China with right direction of running school;it also leads social reform and progress through normal development of colleges and universities,and in the meanwhile,which promotes universities to bring up more excellent talents.Thirdly,this text should point out that what challenges Marxist ideology faces in universities,including challenges from multi-polarization and problems of school-running patterns in universities and information networks;Fourthly this text explain that the universities cement Marxist faith,improve construction of teacher team and innovate teaching of ideological and political classes through enhancing party leadership and strengthen guiding position of Marxist ideology by increasing campus cultural construction.
