The Research On Social Work Intervention In Foreign Residents Integrated Into The Urban Community

Community integration is the important subject of the study of social work,but also an important practice of community based service content.Since the reform and opening,China’s rapid economic development,the overall national strength of China has continually increased,friendly exchanges between the Chinese and foreign continuously strengthen,communication is greatly increasing.A large number of foreigners came to China to work,life and living,and become a part of China’s urban communities,however they blend in Chinese community is not easy,the urban community service centers not many for foreign residents.In order to promote the community of foreign Integrated into the community,In many ways to cut this study,the use of questionnaire survey method,interview method,and to participate in the observation analysis of 130 foreign residents living in A community of Shenzhen.We have analysis the present situation of foreign integrated into the community from three levels of the life level,cultural level,psychological level.Found that foreign residents in the community there is a language barrier,the plight of interpersonal communication,culture into the difficulties and lack of community participation,psychological problems such as weak sense of belonging.And the causes of these problems are in the life level,foreigners are far from home,and the original friends alienated,new networks has not been established in the new environment,the second is the cultural level,foreign residents from different countries have different cultural background and habits,values with our country people’s,three is in the psychological level,foreign residents are not familiar with the community’s living environmental,which less lead to community participation,community belonging is weak.In view of the above problems,the author use the method of group work,community work to explore foreign residents to promote better and faster into the community of the effective way.the author was chose 16 foreign residents in A community group working with the team,and adopts the model of mutual benefit to promote the interaction between team members,which by means of five activities such as “Let’s meet” and “With tea,tea Zen blindly” and “I have a look” and “Laugh to meet the Mid-Autumn festival” and “We Are Family”.It can makes foreign residents to participate in activities outside the home.To show themselves and understand the Chinese culture,then community life circle,which can anticipated objects better.In the community work,the author based on social interaction theory,by means of foreign residents in the process of activities to enhance interaction and communication,to strengthen the foreign residents of the community’s sense of belonging.With conducting "happy together,share" community fete activity.In the process of service,almost every accept the work of the service center service objects are to social workers satisfied with the service content and working attitude,and constantly improve the service satisfaction.At the same time,through the development of the service activities,greatly promoted the Chinese residents and foreign residents interact,that foreign residents are increasingly understand and accept the community culture,formed certain belonging to the community living environment.
