The purpose of this study was to investigate the present situation of the level of junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategies,then to provide theoretical basis for the intervention plan of junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategies.According to the results of the investigation and relative theories,relevant interventions on improving junior middle school students'English vocabulary learning strategies level were conducted in order to improve junior middle school students' English performance as well as learning psychological condition.This paper aimed to help junior middle school students find the right way to improve English vocabulary learning,and meanwhile to alleviate their negative psychology during learning vocabulary,and at end to help relevant English teachers adjust their management to best and gain some beneficial intervention experience.This study provides theoretical basis for middle school English education and relevant psychological counseling.This paper adopted questionnaire survey and case intervention method to conduct study,in which the revised junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategies level questionnaire were used as research tool.This study totally included three parts:Part One,217 junior middle school students in Chongqing were selected as subjects to revise junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategies level questionnaire;Part Two,354 junior high school students in Chongqing were selected as subjects to investigate and analyze the current situation of junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategies level;Part Three,3 junior middle school students in Chongqing with low-level English vocabulary learning strategies,were selected as case interventions subjects who were asked to accept relevant interventions from vocabulary learning strategies,learning motivations and problem solving.The results of this study are as follows:Firstly,this study revised Junior Middle School Students' English Vocabulary Learning Strategies Level Questionnaire,and according to the results of confirmatory factor analysis,its structure had good rationality.Secondly,the investigation showed the current situation of junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategy level,and meta-cognitive strategies,cognitive strategies and Social emotion strategy were all low.Thirdly,for the junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning strategies level,there was significant difference in gender,English achievement,total score and grade,while no difference in urban population or not and one-child or not.Fourthly,junior middle school students' vocabulary learning strategies,learning motivations and the problem solving were all low.Fifthly,the case interventions for junior middle school students' English vocabulary learning difficulty was effective.
