According to the "State Department's decision about the development of vocational education ",the state and the community focus on the development of vocational education.The professional satisfaction of vocational students affects learning behavior and is closely related to the quality of vocational education.This study aims to systematically explore the professional satisfaction status of vocational students,not only help to grasp the professional satisfaction's characteristics of vocational students,but also to understand the needs of students.According to the survey results,adjust the professional settings and curriculum to improve the teaching quality,that can effectively make students learn what they want and improve the reputation of a school.All of this is doing for providing empirical reference of the development of vocational education.The present study proposed a theoretical pattern of professional satisfaction for vocational students,established the scale of professional satisfaction vocational students,examined the professional satisfaction characteristics of vocational students,and explored the mechanism of professional satisfaction for vocational students.The results were as follows:(1)The professional satisfaction of vocational students has four dimensions,which are profession choice satisfaction,curriculum satisfaction,teacher quality satisfaction and hardware facility satisfaction.(2)The index of the scale of professional satisfaction for vocational students were acceptable,which could be a useful measurement.(3)The level of professional satisfaction for vocational students is medium.Specifically,professional choice satisfaction,curriculum satisfaction and teacher's satisfaction have the highest score.In addition,different significances were found at different demographic variables on the level of professional satisfaction,the group characteristic of learning engagement was obvious.(4)The partial mediating effect of the goal of learning engagement on the relationship between employment expectation and professional satisfaction were found.The professional satisfaction of vocational college students is negatively correlated with employment expectation and positively correlated with learning engagement.
