Using TBLT Learning Plan In English Reading Class Of High School

The general objectives of New Senior English Curriculum require students to clear the purpose of learning English,to cultivate the ability of independent le and cooperative learning: to form an effective English learning strategy and to gain comprehensive capacity of applying language.This means higher standards and requirements are set in English reading class.Students are supposed to have the ability to use language rather than learn it passively in the class.According to New Senior English Curriculum,students are supposed to not only develop their comprehensive usage ability,but also improve their abilities of analyzing and solving problems.However,theteaching plan has some disadvantages that it no longer completely meets the teaching needs;therefore,based on the teaching plan,learning plan,concentrating on the teachers and students,has become the main trend in English class.TBLT enables to create a real language environment by designing routine and reasonable task,which improve Students' capacity of analyzing and solving.According to advantages of teaching plan and characteristics of TBLT,the author design the learning plan to improve English reading teaching.through the analysis of teaching problems which occur in practical application,this paper aims to design the task-based learning plan by improving the teaching plan and the following questions are studied through empirical studies: 1.What kind of changes appear in students learning strategies when task-based learning plan used in English class? 2.Could task-based learning plan promote the students' ability of automatic study? A senior grade one class of a high school in Shangdong is chosen as the subjects of this study.This class consists of 54 students.Questionnaires,interviews after class and interviews are adopted as the experimental tools.
