Physics is not only a theoretical science,but also an experimental science.Experiment is the standard of physical theory.In 2001,the ministry of education promulgated the “full-time compulsory education physics course standard(experiment draft)”,which puts forward a new teaching mode of inquiry experiment teaching,which aims to make the students become the masters of study and cultivate the talents to adapt to the social development in the new era.Exploratory experiment teaching model arises from the western developed countries and the maturity of a new education mode,which is beneficial to cultivate innovative thinking and improve the comprehensive quality of students,and is the fundamental trend of matching with China's current education and talent competition.Because of research on inquiry teaching in China starts late,many research contents need to be explored and deep,the author thinks that the inquiry teaching is very necessary in the junior middle school physics teaching.Through the literature research and empirical investigation,the author grasps the present situation of the inquiry teaching of physics in junior high school.With the help of questionnaire survey and interviews survey,the author finds that there are some problems on the development of exploratory experimental teaching,they are the obstacles affecting the new teaching effect and teaching mode.The author uses the method of combining the knowledge of pedagogy,psychology and management,deeply analyses the causes of the problem,mainly including the lack of teaching resources,and teachers not suited to the inquiry experiment teaching mode.Besides,the negative impacts on the inquiry teaching originate from the obstacles of the change of teachers' role,being difficult to effectively manage the classroom,organize students cooperative learn,and also make cognitive errors in inquiry.To conduct a thorough study on the above problems,the author put forward the corresponding optimization strategies: updating teachers' and students' thinking,liberating teachers' and students' thought;providing necessary hardware and software to improve the teaching environment;improving management status of experimental classroom;changing evaluation system of the existing inquiry experiment teaching.Our study strive to promote the reform of physics inquiry experiment teaching,hoping to provide the references for the subsequent development of inquiry experiment teaching,and provide a valuable reference for teachers to carry out the research and practice of experimental inquiry teaching in junior middle school physics.
