Problem-solving skills are essential in history teaching skills,which helps students to solve problems they may be caught in learning activities.In a new curriculum reform which is oriented by subject quality,the cultivation of problem-solving skill is a hot issue that has attracted attention in history curriculum reform.It not only can help students better understand and receive the historical knowledge,improve the learning efficiency,but also help students solve the problem of different types of history subject,so as to improve students' problem solving skills,which helps realize the goal of ability objective.Now many teachers and scholars have certain understanding and the researches on problem-solving skills,but according to the investigation and interview,the current high school students have poor problem-solving skills,and there still exist some problems in the cultivation of such skills.For example,the ability objective cultivation lack of concreteness,while the classroom questioning is not illuminating enough,and skills training is ineffective,and so on.Based on this,the author starts from the history teaching practice,based on previous studies,together with the results of the survey and the interview,and teaching practice,some corresponding strategies to how to carry out the cultivation of student's problem solving skills in the high school history teaching is put forward.The paper consists of 5 parts.The first part is introduction,which includes:1)the reason of the topic;2)related research status on problem solving at home and abroad;3)elaboration on concept of "skills","problem solving","problem solving skills",and the difference between "ability" and "skills";4)analysis on current situation and reasons from teachers and students,and countermeasures proposal,as well as the research content;5)introduction on research methods and its innovation.To seek for effective measures on cultivation of such skills by case study.The second part focuses on the status on cultivation of problem solving skills in history teaching.Based on the investigation goals,objects,process and result,the author takes the views of students and students,by combining with the actual survey data chart which helps carry out survey and the interview analysis,finding that the students,in the process of problem solving skills,their learning motivation,cognitive level,problem consciousness,migration and practice,each item skills,self adjusting and reflection are insufficient.The third part is analysis on reasons of the existing problems.First of all,to students level,the author analyzes from the learning efficiency on explanation,description,comparison,generalization,analysis,evaluation,application and so on,revealing the problems of vague knowledge acquisition,weak problem consciousness and subject learning ability,which leads to a inflexible skills application.Besides,to teachers' perspective,it exposes poor understanding of theory of cultivating skills,and poor classroom guidance effectiveness,and skills training process is unscientific,so,students are inefficient in skills mastering.The fourth part is practice strategies on problem solving skills cultivation in high school history teaching,which is the main part.Based on the above reasons and relevant theory of psychology and pedagogy,from the understanding of historical knowledge-application training on class problems-application of skills and method,and combining with the concrete teaching case analysis of high school history teaching,some operational strategies are proposed.To draw a conclusion,the author discusses the understandings and reflection on problem solving skills by combining with the shortage of the research.
