Retrospection And Reflection On The Teaching Reform Of Ideological And Political Theory Courses In Colleges And Universities

Since China's reform and opening up,China's socialist construction has made remarkable achievements.Thereinto,the socialist construction in colleges and universities has also taken quite great development.The construction of course as the essential embodiment of socialist universities has always been the top priority in the socialist construction in colleges and universities.Over the past thirty years,China's pedagogical reform in college's ideological and political theory course has undergone four periods,namely,the recovery and reconstruction period,the specification and enrichment period,the fully strengthening period,and the improvement and innovation period.Although it went through some ups and downs,it always developed scientifically and healthily.Under new circumstances,the construction of college's ideological and political theory course is to be comprehensively promoted under the premise of heightening ideological understanding,and on the basis of building of teaching materials and discipline construction,meanwhile,what matters are building of teachers forces,teaching methods innovation as well as strengthening party's leadership as a protection.Therefore,in order to secure the comprehensive development of college's ideological and political theory course and smoothly advance the socialist construction in colleges and universities,drawing upon historical experiences has great strategic significance.Beijing,as China's capital as well as China's political and cultural center,has many famous key universities of China,so their reform process,experience and enlightenment for ideological and political theory course are worth studying.The breakthrough point of this essay is curriculum setting,teachers' forces construction,and teaching methods research.While reviewing the reform process of college's ideological and political theory course throughout the country,this essay takes examples in teaching reform of part of universities in the region of Beijing as talking points,focusing on reviewing the reform process of college's ideological and political theory course in the region of Beijing since the reform and opening up,so as to draw lessons from the past experience and make suggestions to the future development of college's ideological and political theory course.
