With the reform of elementary education going deep,it places higher demand on elementary education teachers.Colleges and universities,undertaking the training and cultivation of elementary education school teachers,should enhance the professional competencies of normal students and meet the demand of elementary education based on the aim and content of the curriculum reform of elementary education.Normal students,should not only update their teaching concept,equip themselves with subject knowledge,but also have the subject teaching ability in conformity with the demand of curriculum reform.Subject teaching ability reflects the professional literacy of normal students.The thesis studies the teaching ability of physics normal students,aiming to provide reference and revelation for the training and cultivation of university physics normal students.This research,firstly,puts forward own research idea based on an analysis and summary of the past research findings by literature review;Secondly,it deeply explores the teaching ability of physics normal students by means of questionnaire survey from self-evaluation,theory and practice these three aspects,taking three colleges or universities as research objects and finds that physics normal students overrate their own teaching ability.They are deficient in theory and practice.Next,I conduct status analysis from the perspective of universities cultivating physics normal students.And the main causes for existing problems are as follows:training model stressing knowledge but neglecting practice;improper curriculum provision;lack of teaching skills training;the single educational practice.Finally,based on main existing problems above in current situation,this research proposes that universities should establish the cultivation model of harmony of knowledge and practice,perfect curriculum provision,enhance teaching skills training and enrich educational practice to improve the cultivation of physics normal students’ subject teaching abilities.
