To change student' s learning style, promote self study and research study is one of the core concepts of new physics courses for senior high school. Besides , in order to change students from passive receiver of ready-made physics theories and conclusions to an active participant in the process . it is necessary to increase students' awareness of questions, arouse students' interest in raising questions and improve their abilities to raise questions. Thus, the three-dimensional goals for physics teaching can be better achieved with students being the real master of study.The essay is divided into three parts. Firstly, it deals with how to improve senior high students' ability to raise questions in daily physics teaching and some related problems. Secondly, it ties to discuss the possible factors that affect students' question-raising abilities based on the survey conducted in our school. Thirdly, the teaching strategies on how to develop students' question-raising abilities in physics class is also discussed based on the writer' s teaching practices. And the writer is happy to learn that these teaching strategies may enable students to discover physics-related problems and encourage them to clearly present the problems from the point of physics. As a result, the students can realize the importance of discovering and raising questions and in turn it can promote students' sustainable development.
