“Mathematics wide-angle” is a characteristic section in primary mathematics textbook published by People's Education Press.It has been added to mathematics textbook published by People's Education Press from grade two to grade six after the curriculum reform.It doesn't belong to four fields in math: number and algebra,graphics and geometry,statistics and probability as well as synthesis and practice.Mathematical wide-angle is the content of the unit in which life situation is taken as a carrier.Students solve mathematical problems that are abstracted from the real life by mathematical thinking,constructing mathematical model and independent thinking.Students can learn wide mathematics knowledge,learn mathematical thinking methods,accumulate experience,improve creativity as well as develop math thinking.But there are a lot of problems about teaching mathematics wide-angle,because the content appears relatively late and there are a few people study it.So this paper makes a research on the teaching in mathematics wide-angle,in order to find the existing problems in the teaching of mathematics wide-angle,find out the reasons according to these problems and give the suggestions about teaching mathematics wide-angle.Mathematical teachers among 3 primary schools in Qinhuangdao have been conducted.There are some problems that are found by a questionnaire survey: teachers do not understand the content of mathematics wide-angle accurately,teaching objectives can not be set exactly,the subjectivity of students is ignored when teachers choose the teaching methods,and process of solving questions is ignored.There are many reasons that lead to the problems: the teachers do not pay attention to the teaching content,the teaching goal is not taken seriously,teachers pay more attention to imparting knowledge,teachers do not pay more attention to the process of solving questions and teachers do not pay more attention to the importance of teaching reflection.There are many teaching strategies about teaching mathematics wide-angle: developing the professionalism,studying the content of mathematics wide-angle,setting the teaching goal accurately,renewing ideas and so on.I hope this study can provide the reference for primary teachers in teaching mathematical wide-angle.
