The Oral History Studies Of Female Educated Youth Divorce Under The Perspective Of Contentious Politics

In the 1950 s and 80 s, China staged a massive countryside sports, In the movement, there is a special group of female educated youth, they have to meet a variety of resistance in the later,therefore they have carried on the long-term struggle. Taking female educated youth in Agricultural areas of heilongjiang province for example, this paper studies divorce struggle of female educated youth and extracts 12 samples for oral interviews from the four considerations:educated youth geographic origin, gender ratio, remaining and returned to the city, those who experienced and looked on. In the perspective of contentious politics, article uses the research method of oral history to study how female educated youth apply "fake divorce" , "the weapons of the weak"to fight and game, then clarify the dynamic process of the strategy from educated youth going to the countryside, divorce struggle to back to the city, and the country's policy. At the sanme time, combining the view of gender, the article tends to give special attention to female educated youth, and supplements study of marriage of female educated youth and the movement of educated youth to go and work in the countryside or mountain areas.Through the analysis of the samples, the author found that most female educated youth use the "divorce" this "the weapon of the weak" in the process of coming back to city , the weapon circuitously help them to realize two purposes: one is returning to the city at the same time keeping security marriage; the other is those who unable to return to the city with "divorce"moved all the child's registered permanent residence back to the city. This way is a forced choice in that political and historical condition at that time, this choice proved to be effective at the same time.The following conclusions based on the above research: women in a special historical period play an important role in national politics, compared to men, women sacrify more for polity;"Power--rules--practices" , the interaction and game of the three parts exist in any political system, this tripartite power flip back and forth; The public and collective resistance is not the only sign of contentious politics, flexible role in fighting should also be reckoned with, because it is even a more effective way to fight for a long time.
