The ancients called that the country will be prosperous,the teacher is very important.Traditional mentoring culture is with respecting for the teacher at the core,emphasizing the mentor ship of ‘treat a teacher like a father',defining three functions of ‘preach,teach and answer'.However,as the reform of the education system,the new mentoring culture has broken the limitation of traditional mentoring culture,introducing new elements into it.Mentoring functions as the embodiment of the mentoring relationship is reinvested higher standard of age,which is defined as the teacher to help students,providing all the typical behavior and fully functional.It penetrates the graduate academic career,having a significant impact on individual ability of the external and the reshaping of the psychological quality.This research is done among 956 graduate students as the research object,and mentoring functions scale,knowledge sharing scale,professional identity scale,psychological safety scale and creativity scale were adopted as research tools to study.Based on the theory of mentoring functions,mentoring innovation model,social identity theory and the theory of uncertainty management,the study explored the structure of mentoring function and further explored the logical relationship between graduate students' mentoring functions and knowledge sharing behavior,professional identity,creativity,psychological security,and finally constructed the specific route of mentoring functions.Study results are as follows:1.Self-established mentoring function scale has four dimensions: instrumental function,psycho-social function,networking function,role modeling function.The scale has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an effective measuring tool of mentoring function.2.Mentoring function positively correlated with graduate students' creativity,and the association between networking function and creativity was strongest among the functions(r=0.469,p<0.01).Mentoring function significantly and positively correlated with graduate students' professional identity,and the association between networking function and professional value was strongest among the functions(r=0.469,p<0.01).Mentoring function significantly and positively correlated with graduate students' psychological security,and the association between instrumental function and interpersonal security was strongest among the functions(r=0.360,p<0.01).Networking function and instrumental function positively predict the graduate students' creativity,and networking function has strongest predictive effect on creativity(Beta=0.469,p<0.001).Networking function and instrumental function positively predict the graduate students' professional identity,and instrumental function has strongest predictive effect on professional identity(Beta=0.514,p<0.001).Networking function,instrumental function and psychological function positively predict the graduate students' psychological security,and instrumental function has strongest predictive effect on psychological security(Beta=0.349,p<0.001).3.Knowledge sharing behavior plays completely mediating role between instrumental function and creativity,mediating effect value is 0.174,knowledge sharing behavior plays completely mediating role between psychological function and creativity,mediating effect value is 0.052.Knowledge sharing behavior plays an intermediary role between instrumentalfunction and professional identity,mediating effect value is 0.123,knowledge sharing behavior plays completely mediating role between psychological function and professional identity,mediating effect value is 0.039.Knowledge sharing behavior plays an intermediary role between instrumental function and psychological security,mediating effect value is 0.107,knowledge sharing behavior plays an intermediary role between psychological function and psychological security,mediating effect value is 0.034.4.There are significant differences of role modeling function,creativity and professional learning concept in gender(t=-2.86,p<0.01;t=-3.20,p<0.01;t=-2.02,p<0.05).Role modeling function(F=6.18,p<0.01),creativity(F=7.51,p<0.01),goals and plans(F=5.98,p<0.01),professional commitment(F=5.48,p<0.01),relational security(F=3.20,p<0.05)certainty and control(F=4.10,p<0.05)have significant differences in major.Role modeling(F=3.20,p<0.05)and networking function(F=4.10,p<0.05)have significant differences in grade.Mentors' genders and student students' genders have significant interactive effects on psycho-social function.Through the study of this article,on the one hand,it enriched the theoretical achievements of graduate student mentoring functions,constructed the specific route of mentoring functions.On the other hand,in order to improve the graduate student's innovation ability,research capability and self harmonious,we will provide some practical advice.
