The emergence of big data offers a new opportunity to improve the effectiveness and quality of teaching in education. At present,the development of big data in China's education is still in its infancy,has not yet formed a more perfect system. In the development of big data in education, the United States has a wealth of practical experience. Therefore, through the study of the current situation of the development of big data in American education, this paper puts forward the corresponding strategy according to its development status and challenges in China.This paper uses the literature research method,from the policy,industry structure,application and evaluation, personnel training and so on, studies the development of big data in American education. From the top of the bill and policy planning, from top to bottom,this study explores the implementation strategy of big data in US education. This paper studies its mode of operation, technological innovation, and the promotion of the surrounding industries. This paper analyzes the advantages and shortcomings of the current application of big data in American education. Taking the University of California at Berkeley as an example, this paper explores the US data talent training system.Then, this paper summarizes the development experience of big data in American education. The development of big data in American education has advantages in terms of policy, industry and talent cultivation. The development of big data in American education is inadequate in information security issues, high-level applications and professional research.Finally, based on the development status and challenges of big data in China's education, through comparative research, this article puts forward some development proposals for its development.? Improve the ecological circle and ecological chain of big data in education. ?Expand its application in high-level learning, and strengthen its guiding role in personalized learning. ?Based on the development experience of big data in American education, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of our country from the aspects of the integrity of its industry chain, the adaptability of the study guidance and the perfection of the bill.
