As the National Training Plan has been widely implemented in domestic country for primary and secondary school teachers in recent years, it is necessary to further clarify the relationship between teachers' training motivations and training effects, which helps tn accurately grasp teachers' needs of participating in distance training and then improve training quality. This study is carried out based on the lifelong learning theory, motivation classification theory and adult learning motivation theory. A total of 2500 teachers were randomly selected and surveyed for one month among those who participate in the distance training project for primary and secondary school teachers held by Central China Normal University. They were asked to do the pre-existing distance learning motivation scale and the distance training effect questionnaire designed and complied by the author on the basis of reviewing the literature and interview with the participating teachers. Then,SPSS analysis software was used to do correlation analysis and regression analysis for getting the results.1. The primary and secondary school teachers training effect questionnaire is designed through studying previous literature's results and the actual situation of the interview. It has been tested and revised before the start of survey, and the result shows a good reliability and validity. By analyzing the factors of the questionnaire data, the questionnaire has three dimensions: learning effect, reaction effect and result effect.2. There is a significant positive correlation between the three primary and secondary school teachers distance learning motivation dimensions and the three training effect dimensions. The distance learning motivation has a predictive effect on the training effect: ego-enhancement drive and affiliative drive have a predictive effect on reaction effect of the training effect; cognitive drive and ego-enhancement drive have a significant predictive effect on learning effect of the training effect; cognitive drive,ego-enhancement drive and affiliative drive have a significant predicting effect on behavior effect of the training effect.3. There are significant differences in the distance learning motivation of different demographic characteristics. Women's cognitive drive and ego-enhancement drive are higher than male's; there exists a significant difference between primary and secondary school teachers of different ages in the ego-enhancement drive and affiliative drive ; there exists a significant difference between primary and secondary school teachers of different years of school age in the ego-enhancement drive and affiliative drive; there is a significant difference between primary and secondary school teachers of different teachers professional titles in the ego-enhancement drive and affiliative drive.Finally, suggestions are put forward according to the conclusion of the study from three aspects: the formulation of national laws and regulations, the protection of distance learning motivation and the improvement of distance training system and training effect.
