With the rapid development of 3D printing technology, such as the maker education of a full swing in the global education. Maker education is a good platform for developing STEM education. It is more and more concerned by the educators to make use of the new technology to change the traditional way of acquiring knowledge and skills, and to train the students' ability of using knowledge. 3D printing technology in STEM education has the natural superiority, its application in STEM education research, related curriculum development is particularly important.Although most schools are purchasing 3D printing equipment, but in the understanding of the 3D technology and the development of curriculum system is hard to form, 3D printing courses have been more inclined to manual properties, rather than from the perspective of curriculum development. There is no specific curriculum objectives and the choice of the integration of content, 3D printing technology in the classroom teaching mode of application, including the teaching model and learning model has not been established. Lack of authentic reference to the development of 3D printing curriculum evaluation methods.Based on the above, this paper carried out the research, the relevant exploration includes: first elaborated the research background, education background, regional background and current problems of 3D printing of curriculum development and the possibility to determine the purpose and contents of the research, the research framework and research methods,and research significance. Secondly, this paper reviews the current domestic and international curriculum development model and the current situation of the development of 3D printing course, and makes a preliminary literature review for the subsequent 3D printing regional curriculum development. Third, the core points, from the perspective of STEM education in primary and secondary schools 3D print area curriculum development theory and representative 3D print curriculum development link is expounded, pointed out the direction for the practice of research, is an important theoretical basis for research on 3D printing area curriculum development from the perspective of STEM education.The fourth part is the development process of 3D printing curriculum.Based on the actual situation of the development of 3D printing course in Wenzhou area, the basic elements of the relevant links are interpreted and constructed to form a complete curriculum development and design of 3D printing earea. Finally, the development of 3D printing course case, in order to improve the application of 3D printing curriculum.
