Research: the purpose of facing the challenge of an ageing population in China,it is reported that since 2000,after our aging society, the development speed is very fast,in 2015 is expected to exceed 2015,2034,400 million,2054,472 million people.Fall is a common activity,as the growth of the age, cognitive function in the elderly gradually degraded, offended coefficient and increase, down the stairs is a task, every day they have to face is one of the most challenging and the most dangerous in the daily activities.Fall in our country, however, the elderly over the age of 60 damage a major cause of death in the first place, there are more than half of the elderly have fall many times, fall can cause permanent disability in the elderly, limited activity, loss of confidence of life and fear for the fall, these problems will greatly reduce the quality of life of the elderly and the ability to live independently, stair falls,in turn, affects the safety of the old people up and down the stairs, down the stairs in the elderly, however dangerous index greater than on the stairs.Tai chi is a kind of Chinese traditional sports.Basic taijiquan is a series of continuous elegant sports orderly linked together, make the body constantly moving continuously from foot to foot.During the period of tai chi exercise, need to take a deep breath and focused to achieve harmony between the body and mind.Tai chi has been proven by changing the physical condition, gait and proprioception to improve the physical stability of the elderly.Tai chi exercise can under the condition of single task and double task upstairs, increased body stability. Methods: selecting 30 subjects,no bone in a year, neuromuscular disease in physiology and psychology, and there is no history of hospitalization, divided into two groups: long-term regular tai chi exercise group(n=15;age: 66.3±2.5 years old;tai chi exercise: 8.4±-2.8 years),no exercise group as control group(n =15;age: 67.2±4.8years).All participants were asked on load platform respectively dual task down the stairs and single task simulation down the stairs,in order to ensure the accuracy, all the participants were completed under the condition of arithmetic and doesn't countdown the stairs, four kinematic data is to use an 8 infrared camera motion capture system to collect,by measuring the force movement mechanics data collected as a parameter.Statistics: use repetitive two-dimensional analysis of variance(Two Way ANOVA with repeated measures)to determine the index of the differences.Among them, the subjects were grouped as Independent variables(Independent Measures),two kinds of cognitive status(double tasks and single task)as a repeated arguments. If the Interactions in effect between the two independent variables(Interactions),using a Paired T test(Paired Sample T tests)to determine the two groups in different state differences within the group. When determining the number of participants, set 2kinds of variance rate(tpye?error)was 20%,the Statistical performance(Statistical Power)of 80%.When a variance rate(Type?error)is less than 0.05,think differences are significant. The results of the study:1.Horizontal velocity: taijiquan old people down the stairs, either double duty or task down the stairs horizontal velocity is lower than without exercise group dual task or horizontal velocity of the single task down the stairs and down the stairs and tai chi group significantly at P = 0.012 diversity, the tai chi group single task and no exercise group task down the stairs at P = 0.016,there are significant differences, strong stability and cognitive ability that tai chi chuan the elderly group is better than no exercise.2.Lift height: tai chi chuan the elderly in the dual task or task down the stairs, lift height were higher than exercise group, the lower limb ability is better than no exercise group of elderly people.3.Before the head tilt Angle: tai chi group in the dual task or task down the stairs in the exercise group of elderly people in double duty or task down the stairs when compared to the tai chi group of elderly people in the process of the next stair head leaning Angle and the inclination of the minimum maximum of all showed a trend of gradual decline, and a significant difference.4.Before the torso Angle: no exercise elderly torso leaning Angle is greater thanthe tai chi group the elderly torso leaning Angle, there is no old people focus on exercise group, poor stability, more prone to fall.5.The hip joint Angle: no exercise group of elderly people in double duty or task down the stairs,of the hip Angle is greater than the tai chi group, and tai chi chuan the elderly no difference when down the stairs, and no exercise group down the stairs there are differences, the tai chi group single task and no exercise group and there is also a difference down the stairs.6.Knee joint Angle: taiji group knee joint Angle is greater than the knee joint Angle without exercise group,no significant differences.7.Maximum ankle Angle: taiji group ankle Angle is greater than the ankle angles without exercise group, tai chi chuan elderly and no clear difference in the exercise group when the next stair in the elderly group.8.The body center of gravity: no exercise group of elderly people in both dual task and single task shaking down the stairs when the body is higher than the tai chi group of elderly people.Conclusion:1.Down the stairs in the process of taijiquan group cognitive ability and physical function in the elderly is higher than exercise group of elderly people.2.Research findings suggest that long-term regular tai chi exercise can improve the elderly in the dual task nowadays stair, single task conditions the stability of the body.
