The teaching of new poetry is an important part of Chinese teaching for middle and high school,besides,it plays an important role in cultivating students' spiritual spirit,expanding knowledge and ability.Not only is the traditional teaching of new poetry neglected,but also teaching methods are too traditional and so on.In this paper,some methods to improve the teaching of new poetry are proposed by the author through the questionnaire survey,case analysis and other methods.The present situation and existing problems of teaching new poetry under the new situation is put forward in the first chapter.First of all,the paper introduces the requirements of new chinese curriculum standards for high school and middle school to the teaching of new poems,and then analyzes the causes of the problems in the teaching of new poems:the stress of the exams is too big,the characteristics of the new poems are not in place.And the development of new poetry is not mature enough.In the second chapter,three perspectives of the introduction of the new poetry teaching is explored:introduction of problems,story,and situation.Besides,differences between different guides and interoperability are respectively explained,in order to remind teachers to make the right decision,with combining specific learning and texts.In the third chapter,where combining the unique stylistic features of the new poems,it mainly puts forward the idea that the recitation should be paid attention,and have a clear goal that is taking knowledge and skills,the process and method,emotion attitude and value about new poetry teaching into account.Moreover,Teachers are required to improve their level of recitation,to exercise the students' reading skills,but also to guide students to read poems in different ways,and use the scene of teaching to achieve maximum reading effect.The fourth chapter mainly discusses problems of reading poetry in class.Firstly,teachers shall improve their ability to interpret poetry;secondly,guide them to interpret structure,language and image.In teaching,we should pay special attention to the inspiration and cultivation of students' imagination.In the fifth chapter,teaching of poetry is demonstrated by teaching,so,the author put forward performance teaching,contrast teaching,creative teaching point of view,which aims to increase students' understanding of new poetry.Teachers have to plan the teaching progress in a reasonable way,and follow requirements of curriculum standards to encourage students to read extra-curricular and post-class writing,and teaching in a comparative view,and actively participate in activities related to the new poetry,Therefore,students can enjoy the beauty of new art in the relaxed atmosphere,which is like they are bathing under the sun.
