Teaching by behavior is the effective method of following the law of the ideological and political work, following the pattern of imparting knowledge and educating people,following the law of the growth of students. Whether the ideological and political theory teachers can earnestly practice what one advocates directly relates to the result that ideological and political theory course can be "usefu" and "effective".Therefore, it is necessary to carry out systematic research on the problem of teachers'teaching by their own behavior in ideological and political theory course to improve the effectiveness of Ideological and political theory courses.Setting out to the connotation and characteristics of ideological and political theory course teachers teaching by their own behavior, This article discusses a series of questions about the ideological and political theory college teachers' teaching by their own behavior including its necessity,problems and causes and the path of strengthening and improving it comprehensively. The full text is divided into four parts.The first part explains the connotation and characteristics of ideological and political theory course teachers teaching by their own behavior, which is the foundation and premise of this study. Ideological and political theory course teachers' teaching by their own behavior means that during the course of ideological and political education,ideological and political theory course teachers must set an example to the students with their own practical action, combined with the content of education of Ideological and political theory course in order to inspire and influence and guide undergraduates to agree and practice the demands of education advocated by the teachers and ultimately improve the ideological and political education practice. It shows the characteristics of practice, demonstration, guidance, permeability and so on.The second part explores the necessity of ideological and political theory course teachers' teaching by their own behavior, which is the proper meaning of the Marx doctrine, is the reference of the ancient Chinese and Western teaching thought and theory,is the summary of experience of our party and the ideological and political theory teachers.The third part discusses the existing problems and causes of ideological and political theory course teachers' teaching by their own behavior. The current ideological and political theory teachers tend to do more speech education than personal education. The words said by teachers and their deeds are inconsistent, and also they have improper teaching behavior etc.. The main reason causing the above-mentioned problems is: the traditional ideological and political education model continue to happen with real impact.The current training of teachers teaching by their own behavior is deficient.There are still constraints to the teachers of Ideological and political theory in the current system.
