The fine art teaching in high school is facing from different areas and different junior high school students. They have uneven artistic knowledge, different attitude towards fine art learning, as well as different mindset of learning art. These bring many difficulties and challenges to our high school fine art teaching.The art of knowledge can be improved and learning attitude of fine art can change too. So we should focus on an important factor that affects their improvement and change:mindset. On the one hand, the students face the thinking mode of art study; on the other hand, the teachers face the thinking mode of Art Teaching. Based on this, I suggest,combining growth mindset in achievement motivation theory of educational psychology with high school art teaching and practice, in order to improve and solve high school fine arts teaching efficiency is low and students lack motivation for learning art.On the basis of the relevant theoretical research, this paper mainly discusses how to integrate the theory into the design and practice of high school art teaching flexibly and concretely. Through the fine art teaching practice in No.1 Middle School Attached to CCNU to study and analyze the data of teaching effectiveness and feedback in practice period. The results show that using the growth mindset to guide the teaching of art design can cultivate the students' growth mindset. It can not only help students obtain positive emotional experience in the learning of art to overcome the fear of hardship, but also stimulate their desire and thirst for fine art knowledge.
