As the curriculum reform of education develops,that education returning to the life world has become an important educational idea.The teaching practice of senior high school biology is not linked closely with life,which shows that the contexts of biology are not connected with the actual life of students,that the process of teaching do not pay attention to the life experience of the students and that the interest of students learning biology is not enough.It is necessary to practice the life-oriented teaching in the process of biology teaching in order to change the above situation and meet to the idea of education returning to the life world.What is life-oriented teaching?The core of life-oriented teaching activities,taking the life experience of students as background,is the biological scientific knowledge to apply in real life.It could make the process of biological teaching bound with the reality of life tightly.The strategy of life-oriented teaching connecting senior high school biology with the life is studied in the paper.Six parts are included in the paper.Firstly,I states the background and meaning of strategy in senior high school biological teaching.It also shows the domestic and foreign relevant research status and the shortcomings of the present research concerning life-oriented teaching of biology.The thought of the study is stated in the end of this part.Secondly,the relevant concept of life-oriented teaching in senior high school is defined,which is composed of life-oriented teaching and life-oriented biology teaching of senior high school.Through the analysis of literature and the other methods,I summarized some related theories supporting it,such as the idea of Dewey's 'Education is life'.Thirdly,through the questionnaire survey and interviewing biology teacher,I have known some about the present situation of senior high school biology teaching.The objects of the survey are some biology teachers and some grade 2 students from Nanping No.l Middle School.The contents of the survey includes the interest of students in learning biology,the situation of carrying out the life-oriented teaching strategy in the process of biology class and the teachers' comprehension of life-oriented teaching.Based on the results of the survey,it is clear about the situation of it including shortcomings.Fourthly,according to varied contents,the author proposed a variety of high school life-oriented biology teaching strategy,such as creating teaching situation,leading to explore life experiment,telling story of life and designing homework of life.Combined with People's Education Press senior high school compulsory three internal environment and homeostasis,the biological contents suitable for life-oriented teaching strategy is put forward.Fifthly,it is hard to tell us whether the strategy of senior high school life-oriented biology teaching can improve students' academic performance or not by analyzing the differences of two classes in the past term.The objects of the study are science students who are grade two in Fujian Nanping No.l Middle School.The research result shows that the strategy of life-oriented biology teaching can improve the academic performance of students.Besides that,it can raise the interest in learning biology and enhance the ability of solving biology related problems.Lastly,I make a summary that the implementation of life-oriented biology strategy is helpful to the interest and score of students,making the process of teaching optimized.
