| Building a model on biology can simplify the biological knowledge and help students understand the knowledge.Therefore model teaching is gradually valued and used.However many teachers have not truely understanded it.Teaching process is still based on teachers and is not real student-oriented teaching.They have no sumed up the effective experience and concrete implementation plan of model construction teaching.In this paper,the module of genetics and evolution in senior high school was used to study how to carry out effective model teaching which is based on our actual survey,and explore the main problems in specific model teaching for follow-up study.Therefore,we firstly consult the literature related to the theroretical basis,then find out the actual situation and the existing of the model construction in senior high school biology learning,and finally validat the advantages of the model teaching.The domestic research on the model construction teachering is very regional,andvaries greatly.Investigation on the construction teaching of the biological model in our school indicates that the concept of the model and the specific construction process are poorly understood at the beginning of the research.However,with the continuous learning,most of the students grasdually know what is the model,and think that the model is more interesting than the traditional teaching,hope teachers use the model teaching and even want to make their own models.The model teaching can find the problems that ordinary teaching can not find in time,helping teachers to know students’ learning situation.The method of model guiding teaching can make students more flexible in the understanding of knowledge,and can greatly improve students’ creative thinking and divergent thinking ability.The establishment of conceptual model can make the fragmented knowledge more structured and more specific,effectively improveing the enthusiasm of learning and the speed of problem solving,and the students’ ability of practice and cooperation.The successful implementation of the model teaching needs the cooperation between teachers and students.It requires teachers to better understand the teaching materials and model construction,and select appropriate model to construct according to different teaching content and model characteristics. |
