| Learning progression is students in the learning life of the core concepts and related the ability and activities that can continuous development and use process. Through learning we can reveal the thinking process of students’ learning and develop students’ potential knowledge and skills. Before the construction of learning progression,understand the misconception and the study situation of the knowledge structure of the subject of the student, through these to determine the starting point and end point, learning advanced advanced level etc.Learning progression research showing a thriving scene in China, it has been widely used in the fields of biology, physics, chemistry and so on,but for the study of primary school and junior high school biology between heredity and variation of less advanced learning.This paper is divided into the following sections: First, the misconception of "Heredity and variation" was investigated by the two stage selection test. Second, construct the "Heredity and variation"learning progression and verified by test. Design 9 different concepts based on the misconception of the first test, after discussions with staff and teachers obtained the theory of "Heredity and variation" learning progression. Through the test of the master of the core concept of"Heredity and variation",look at the thinking process of students by learning progression in compliance with the different dimensions of the description, and then modify and validate the learning progression. Three,based on the "Heredity and variation" learning progression design teaching. Students in different learning problems which reflect in the learning progression using targeted teaching,make a hierarchical,structured inquiry on the whole project, to achieve the goal of teaching,and constantly adjust the teaching to promote the occurrence of effective teaching.This paper put forward the following suggestions on the application of the theory of learning progression:1 .By learning progression to guide students to establish the inheritance and variation of cognitive structure.2. An important part of reasonable evaluation is the development and application of learning progression.3.Use the language correctly in Teaching. |
